At our faculty, a monthly R&D team meeting—during which research and development activities were evaluated within the framework of the 2026 Academic Unit Target Indicators—was held under the chairmanship of our Associate Dean, Prof. Dr. Gültekin UZUN.

At the meeting, held on October 27, 2026, the academic unit target indicators for the first six months of 2026 were discussed, and assessments were made regarding the work to be carried out during the July–December 2026 period.

The meeting addressed goals, incentive programs, and improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing our Faculty’s research performance. Additionally, plans were made to evaluate the number of scientific publications, the proportion of publications in the Q1-Q2 categories, and publication activities carried out within the scope of international collaborations.

In addition to potential initiatives and discussions aimed at developing university-industry collaboration, ideas were exchanged regarding challenges encountered in national and international projects, improvement efforts to achieve targets, BAP projects, patent applications, and registration activities.

The meeting concluded with the sharing of wishes and hopes.

At our faculty, efforts continue to evaluate research and development activities and address improvement processes in line with the target indicators of academic units.
