The project team consisting of senior Civil Engineering students of our Faculty Burak Günaydın, Ali Eren Avşar and ITU Maritime Faculty senior student Göktuğ Yıldız, advised by Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kürşat Yıldız in the maritime field of the “Reaching and Accessing Turkey 2053 R&D Idea Competition” organized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Transportation, Maritime and Communication Research Center (UDHAM), won first place with their “ASBOT Autonomous Ship Conversion R&D Project”.
