The 21st meeting organized by our Faculty’s Accreditation Unit was held on Thursday, May 21, at 1:00 p.m., chaired by our Vice Dean, Prof. Dr. Şevki Demirbaş.

The meeting was attended by the department chairs, assistant department chairs, and chairs of the departmental MÜDEK committees from the departments that have submitted MÜDEK applications.

During the meeting, the current status of the applying departments was evaluated, and discussions were held regarding the latest status of the Self-Evaluation Reports and the virtual document repositories. The work carried out within the scope of the process was reviewed, and particular emphasis was placed on the importance of continuously informing department faculty members and students about the accreditation process and holding regular meetings.

Additionally, it was emphasized that merely describing the processes in the Self-Evaluation Reports is insufficient; it is of great importance that the implemented practices be clearly demonstrated with concrete evidence and supporting documents.

Speaking at the meeting, our Vice Dean, Prof. Dr. Şevki Demirbaş, thanked all departments contributing to the accreditation process and noted that the ongoing efforts are crucial for our faculty’s quality assurance.

The meeting concluded following a mutual exchange of views.
