As part of the quality and accreditation efforts conducted by our Faculty's Accreditation Unit, the 17th Accreditation Preparation Meeting was held on Thursday, January 15, at 12:30 p.m.
During the meeting, it was announced that applications had been submitted to MÜDEK (Association for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Education Programs) for the undergraduate programs in Computer Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Automotive Engineering as of January 15. It was emphasized that the six programs within our faculty have officially entered the accreditation process.
During the rest of the meeting, the draft MÜDEK Self-Assessment reports prepared by the departments were evaluated, and updates and improvement suggestions regarding the reports were discussed. In addition, a general evaluation was made regarding the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, and views were exchanged on quality assurance processes.
The meeting ended with the sharing of wishes and hopes.
