The 14th Future of Automotive Design Competition (OGTY), organized by the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OİB) with the support of the Ministry of Trade and under the coordination of the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TİM), was held this year at Eskişehir Osmangazi University.
Under the theme of “Software-Defined Vehicles,” the event was attended by 68 students and 2 research assistants led by Prof. Dr. Mesut Düzgün, Head of the Automotive Engineering Department at Gazi University's Faculty of Technology.
A total of 3.6 million TL in prizes, patent application support, and overseas training opportunities were awarded to the winners among the 10 projects that reached the finals.
During the event, our students had the opportunity to listen to visionary presentations on the future of the automotive industry at panels attended by industry representatives and to meet with companies with which they could collaborate as part of workplace training.
OGTY, which grows every year, continues to lead the development of R&D, innovation, and design culture in the Turkish automotive industry.
