Prof. Dr. Volkan YILMAZ

Our university has achieved significant success with the “Remove Barriers, Gain a Profession: Vocational Training Project for People with Disabilities,” which will be carried out under the European Union Erasmus+ KA220-2024 Cooperation Partnerships call. The project, which has been awarded grant support by the Turkish National Agency, will be led by our faculty member Prof. Dr. Volkan YILMAZ and will last for 24 months. It aims to develop the vocational skills of individuals with disabilities and ensure their effective participation in the labor market. The project, which will be carried out through a consortium formed with the participation of multiple institutions and organizations, aims to reduce the barriers faced by individuals with disabilities in their education and employment processes, develop innovative education methods, and increase social awareness. With this valuable project, our university adds another pioneering initiative in the field of social responsibility, contributing to the vision of inclusive education and equal opportunities.
