Our students returned from TEKNOFEST 2025, held in Istanbul between September 17-21, with awards. The award-winning students and their awards are as follows: 

Batuhan Cafer Özyürek, an Electrical-Electronics Engineering student at our faculty, won first prize in the Defense, Space, and Aviation category of the TEKNOFEST University Student Research Project Competition with his team named Gcore, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Demirtaş. 

Our faculty students Batuhan Türkyılmaz, Abdullah Zeynel, Tolga Demirel, Muhammed Murad Chamaa, and Abdulgaffar Gülice, along with their team advisor, Prof. Dr. Ayhan Erdem, Head of the Computer Engineering Department, won the “Most Original Software” award in the TEKNOFEST Turkcell 5G Positioning Competition.
