The 17th Faculty of Technology Deans Meeting was held in Elazığ hosted by Fırat University with the participation of deans and vice deans of 14 universities.

Rector of Fırat University Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş, Rector of Sinop University Prof. Dr. Şakir Taşdemir, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Soner Özgen, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Yılmaz, Dean of the Faculty of Technology of Fırat University Prof. Dr. Bahar Demirel, deans of the faculties of technology of universities, vice deans, faculty members and invited guests attended the opening of the meeting held in Mustafa Temizer conference hall.

Making the opening speech of the program, Fırat University Faculty of Technology Dean Prof. Dr. Bahar Demirel stated that Fırat University Faculty of Technology was established in 2009 and expressed his happiness to host the 17th Technology Faculties Deans Meeting.

Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş, the rector of Fırat University, said that he found it valuable to hold such a meeting hosted by Fırat University and gave various information about our university to the participants of the meeting. Prof. Dr. Şakir Taşdemir, rector of Sinop University, also wished the meeting to be productive. The meeting, where various issues will be discussed, will end on 02.03.2024.
