Ömer Kağan Yılmaz and Ahmet Kaya, students of the Department of Manufacturing Engineering, who won the first prize in the modeling and design competition Designathon 2023 with Fusion 360, visited our Dean Prof. Dr. Musa ATAR.

Our Dean Prof. Dr. Musa ATAR wished our students Ömer Kağan Yılmaz and Ahmet Kaya continued success and presented a certificate of appreciation.

Ömer Kağan Yılmaz and Ahmet Kaya, students of the Department of Manufacturing Engineering, received the first prize in the "Designathon 2023", a modeling and design competition with Fusion 360 held on December 15-16, 2023.

Our students Ahmet Kaya and Ömer Kağan Yılmaz participated in the competition with their original design YangYing vehicle and were selected first among all projects. The YangYing vehicle is a futuristic project designed to grow high-yielding crops of different varieties with artificial intelligence and remote control with renewable energy sources and mobile use of solar energy and biomass combustion. As stated by the judges, our students created the most detailed model in the competition and developed their models with realistic and innovative ideas such as specially designed flower pots and 150 degree rotatable solar panels.
