The bootcamp event, organized by our faculty CIGRE and ELİTAT communities, was held at Gazi University Gölbaşı Campus Technopark between 5-7 May. The bootcamp, which was attended by 32 people, initially started with 7 teams, but was reduced to 6 teams when one team gave up. The participants worked with great devotion for 3 days to produce solutions to the given problems and made their presentations to the juries.
During the bootcamp, participants improved their problem-solving skills and learned many new things. They also consolidated important skills such as teamwork, communication and time management. At the end of the bootcamp, the top 3 teams selected by the judges won awards.
Within the scope of the event, Cloud Engineer Feyza SEYREK from Huawei Turkey, Huawei Developer Manager Kübra BİLGİÇ and Huawei Developer Relations Specialist Cansu TEKNECİ met with Gazi University students. As Cloud Engineers, the authorities, who conveyed their knowledge and experience to the students, asked the teams to write the article and announced that the 3 teams that wrote the best article would be rewarded.
In the second session of the bootcamp, Dr. F. Figen AR, CEO of 3AR Energy Chemistry, made a presentation on "Sustainability and Hydrogen Energy" and asked the contestants to think about hydrogen energy going forward. In the third session, Mr. Ümit Çetinkaya, R&D Manager of TEİAŞ, asked the competitors to prepare a presentation with 3 questions and made an informative presentation about TEİAŞ and electricity transport.
The winner of the bootcamp was awarded a bag with exclusive content from HUAWEI, the second was awarded 3 months of free training from Teol Language Schools, and the third was awarded a $300 discount voucher from Success Work and Travel Agency. This bootcamp was a fruitful experience for the participants and helped them become better equipped to solve the problems they will face in the future.
