Turkey's first and only aviation, space and technology festival, organized with the partnership of many organizations that play a critical role in the development of national technology in Turkey, was held in Istanbul this year. Participating in TEKNOFEST 2023 Istanbul with 29 finalist teams, our University returned with awards.

Supported by our University TEKNOFEST and Competitions Coordinator, whose doctoral lecturer Cemil OCAK is the Coordinator, and Faculty of Technology Industrial Design Engineering Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Kaan Utku Delioğlu, Naci Enes Dirican, Sedat Tuna Erkan, Oğulcan Tükenmez from the Industrial Design Engineering Department supervised by Prof. Dr. İsmail Şahin; The Deep Blue Team,  which includes Mujeeb Rahman Sediqi, Eren Yılmaz, Kaan Parlak and Mehmet Sezgin Öztaş from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering , won the second prize in the category of Technology-Social Innovation for the Benefit of Humanity with the project named CER-MİG underwater welding Rov .

Our dean, accepted the members of the Deep Blue Team, who returned to our Faculty with the proud award they received, in his office. Prof. Dr. Musa Atar received information about teamwork and congratulated our students for their success.
