The closing of the NEET Pro project named “Let's Find Virtual Reality Jobs in the Manufacturing Sector” with the code TREESP1.2.NEETPRO/P-03/136, which aims to bring young people into the workforce as Gazi University, was held with the officials of İŞKUR, ASO, OSTİM and valuable participants. After the opening speeches of our Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Serhat Karyeyen and our Dean Prof. Dr. Musa Atar, project coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tayfun Fındık gave information about the activities carried out within the scope of the project. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tayfun Fındık stated that two Computer Laboratories, a 3D printer laboratory and 20 VR glasses were purchased for the Faculty of Technology within the scope of the project and 200 NEETs were trained with this infrastructure, and with this project, virtual reality (VR) trainings, internship opportunities and career support programs invested in the future of our young people and thanked the contributors.
The closing of the project ended with the presentation of plaques.
