As part of international cooperation in science and education and within the framework of the grant-funded project (Project IRN AP22688217) titled “Research and Use of Block-Based Programming Generators to Improve Students' Cognitive Skills”, an important event took place at Gazi University Faculty of Technology.
From 30 September to 3 October 2024, Ayim Yesseikyzy, a postdoctoral student from Zhetysu University (Taldykorgan, Kazakhstan), together with his scientific advisor Aigul Aldabergenova, Associate Professor and Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, organized and led a scientific seminar entitled “Possibilities and Prospects of Block-Based Programming”.
The seminar provided a platform for sharing experiences and discussing the future prospects of block-based programming in education and offered valuable insights for both participants and organizers.
In addition, the visiting faculty members paid a courtesy visit to our Dean Prof. Dr. Musa ATAR and exchanged information on developing and establishing mutual collaborations.
This collaboration between Zhetysu University and Gazi University is an important step in advancing the use of innovative educational technologies to improve students' cognitive skills.
