“Finding Innovative and Creative Solutions for Society (FICS)” event  was held in cooperation with Gazi University International Relations Institution Coordinator and Pakistan National Science and Technology University.

The event started with the project presentation made in the Foyer Area of the Tashkent Building of the Faculty of Technology of our University. Our University Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız, Rector of Sivas Science and Technology University Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kul, Rector of Bartın University Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun, Vice-Chancellor of Pakistan National University of Science and Technology Dr. Rizwan RIve delegation, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ramazan Bayindir, Prof. Dr. Yücel Gelişli, Advisor to the Rector Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Bülbül, our Dean Prof. Dr. Musa ATAR, faculty members and students of our university attended.

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız started his speech by saying “Welcome” to the teams participating in the “Competition to Find Innovative and Creative Solutions for the Society”. Stating that one part of this event, traditionally organized by the Pakistan National Science and Technology University, was held for the first time in a different country and at a different university, Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız wished success to the teams participating in the competition.

Pakistan National University of Science and Technology Vice-Chancellor Dr. Rizwan Riaz, on the other hand, said in his speech that he was happy to be holding this event at Gazi University. Drawing attention to the good relations between Pakistan and Türkiye, Dr. Rizwan Riaz thanks our Rector Prof. Dr. Musa YILDIZ. Sivas Science and Technology University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kul and Bartın University Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun also gave opening speeches at the event.

In addition to our university, Altınbaş University, Bartın University, İzmir Katip Çelebi University, Konya Technical University, Ondokuz Mayıs University, Isparta University of Applied Sciences, Harran University, TED University, TOBB Economy and Technology University, Manisa Celal Bayar University, Samsun University, Uşak University. , Selçuk University, Başkent University, Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, Ege University, Karabük University and Karamanoğlu Mehmet Bey Universities took place.
