Implementation of the Engineering Completion Program

  • In order to complete the program, a candidate who is placed in the Engineering Completion Program must take the courses determined by the YÖK Engineering Completion Programs Study Commission for the Related Engineering Programs:

  • Courses determined for completion can be changed by a maximum of 30% by the University Senate.

  • The language of instruction of Engineering Completion Programs is applied as specified in the guide published by OSYM.

  • Students pay contributions and secondary education fees as published in the preference guide.

  • Those who successfully complete the completion programs are given the title of "engineer" in the relevant branches; their diplomas are recorded as "having completed the completion program in accordance with Law No. 3795 and gaining the title of engineer".

  • It is not possible to register to 2 different Engineering Completion Programs at the same time.

  • Engineering Completion Program students attend classes with other students.

  • Engineering completion students cannot be considered for Special Student status.

  • Engineering completion students can transfer between the engineering completion programs opened in the year they enroll in higher education programs. However, the placement basis points of these students in the transfer process must be equal to or higher than the base score of the higher education programs.

  • The duration of the Engineering Completion program is maximum 2 years. Those who fail to meet the graduation requirements within the maximum period are dismissed. In addition, the time spent in the foreign language preparatory class will not be included in these periods.
